The design goal
Make the setting playable through character options and rules that express its social conflicts, while keeping the player-facing language understandable.
Worldbuilding through the rules
The handbook frames magic as an industrial force with a social cost. Backgrounds and character features give players concrete ways to belong to that world, rather than placing the setting in a separate block of lore.
A feature should create the next scene
The selected Urban Network feature grants a reliable lead after an hour spent gathering information. It does not guarantee access or cooperation, so the advantage leads into another playable encounter.
Development and publication
The manuscript is under development and playtesting. The current English Homebrewery source has been checked against the working Google Drive copy. Selected original prose and rules are available here; the complete handbook is withheld while SRD alignment and publication preparation continue.
