About
Kirill Sakhin
Game & Systems Designer · Narrative Designer · Writer

I work across tabletop roleplaying, narrative design and digital game prototypes. Prisma connects a player’s handbook, investigations and an ongoing campaign with a tactical cRPG adaptation. The Revenant explores possession as the central mechanic of an action RPG.
I’m interested in the point where a story becomes something the player can act on: rules that express the setting, clues that open routes, and consequences that carry into the next scene.
Selected independent projects
Prisma
Worldbuilding, rules and writing for a personal tabletop setting, player’s handbook, adventures and an ongoing campaign. Design direction for its party-based tactical cRPG adaptation, currently in development.
The Revenant
Game concept, narrative and systems design direction for an action RPG prototype centred on possession. Personal playtesting informs the development of body roles, release reactions and spirit traversal.
How I work
I start with a concrete player decision: which body to inhabit, which route to take, whom to trust, or what to reveal. I then define what each option changes, what information the player needs, and how the game communicates the result.
Professional background
I’m a practising attorney affiliated with Saveliev, Batanov & Partners. Legal writing, technology projects and automation have made precision and coherent documentation central to how I work.
Languages
Russian and English.
Production approach
My independent projects use AI-assisted workflows. I direct the concepts, design decisions and iteration; each project page identifies contributions and credits, and distinguishes working concepts, prototype progress and design targets.
